The rules
- Post real catches and real conditions. No made-up reports.
- Follow Wisconsin's fishing rules in what you post. Don't show fish kept over the limit or out of season.
- No insults, threats, hate, or arguing about politics.
- No ads or links for things you sell. Businesses can advertise free for a year instead.
- Don't post someone else's spot, name, or face without their OK.
- Photos of kids only with a parent's or guardian's OK.
- Classifieds: fishing gear and boats only, no animals, no weapons.
Your posts and photos
- You keep owning what you post. By posting, you let Lake Sheet show it on the site, in the app, and in our emails, and use it to describe how a lake is fishing.
- Photo location data (GPS) is removed before your photo leaves your phone, and again on our side.
- You choose how much of your spot to share: the lake only, a general area, or an exact spot.
- Fishing guides' reports may show up 7 days late to protect their spots.
Moderation
Anyone logged in can report a post. Three reports hide it until we look. Posts with links from new members are checked first. We remove posts and accounts that break these rules.
